The caketops can be personalised in many different ways. Prices vary depending on how you wish to personalise your caketop. On average a caketop costs from £50 upwards.
This page is currently being improved and the current list of variations is not exhaustive. Detailed information can be found in the FAQs page.

I make each caketop from scratch, using a combination of wood, fabric, wire and ribbons. The heads, arms, hands, flowers, dogs, cats and 'props' are all individually modelled by me in polymer clay. The bride's dress is made from satin, organza, net, or you can supply your own fabric. The groom's suit is made from felt, with ribbon for waistcoats and ties, and kilts are made from ribbon or material.
The bride's dress can either be
satin A-line,
"satin bell-shaped",
satin Empire line, full net skirt with satin bodice or satin underskirt with tartan curtain style overskirt.
I can dress the bride in a sari style dress. The sari is made with a skirt and a top with short sleeves, and she can wear a shawl over her head.
I can add embroidery or a small amount of beading to the dress. You can also supply your own fabric for me to use.
Please see the FAQs page for the full list of materials and colours that are available.
The groom may wear a suit, traditional kilt or modern style kilt with or without a waistcoat with a bow tie, normal style tie or a cravat. Hats are also possible.
Please see the FAQs page for the full list of suit colours and tartans that are available for the groom.
Uniforms are possible for brides and/or grooms. There are some limits to what can be achieved but details such as medals, hats and buttons can be included. Browse the career page of the gallery to see examples.
Basic hair colours available are light brown, dark brown, yellow blonde, brown blonde, natural red, grey or black but variations are available upon request.
The bride's hair can be worn up or loose to a maximum of shoulder length. Please browse the gallery to see variations. More information can be found in the FAQs page.
Groom's hair can be regular style, spiky, long to chin, pony tail, bald or bald with painted on hair. Groom may also have facial hair: full beard, goatee beard, goatee beard with moustache or sideburns.
Veils may be short, waist-length or long.
Tiaras are available in gold, silver, copper or red. Alternatively, the bride may wear flowers in her hair.
Standard bouquets have 3 roses or 5 lilies but I can add more flowers for a trailing or larger bouquet.
The following types of flower are available (all are handmade): roses, cala lilies, daisy/gerbera, carnartions, orchid style, sunflowers and thistles.
All flowers are handmade for the individual caketop, therefore any colour combination may be requested. The bouquet looks best with leaves added but they may be omitted if requested.
Buttonholes are available in your choice of colour of rose, cala lily, carnation or a thistle.
Brides can have either a smiley face, a lipstick smile, a smiley face with a lipstick smile or a toothy smile.
Grooms may have either a smiley face or a toothy smile.
Eyes are stick on "google" eyes. They are white with a black pupil.
The bride and groom can hold hands or the groom can have his left hand behind the bride. The groom and/or bride can give a "thumbs up" sign. The groom can stand straight or with his right leg out to the side in a "happy" pose.
The bride and groom can hold pints of "lager", Guinness or bottles of champagne or wine (see FAQs for notes on drinking glasses).
Child figures can be included on the same base as the bride and groom or can be placed on a separate base.
Small animals may be added, for example dogs, cats or bunny rabbits.
Props such as rucksacks, footballs or items which signify jobs and hobbies can often be added to the caketop. There are some limitations
as to what is possible.
I use a 3½ inch diameter base for the bride and groom. You can chose from gold, silver, or silver covered by a white paper doily.
You can choose a ribbon colour to incorporate into the bow at the couple's feet. On top of the bow you can choose to have a flower or a enamel decoration or a horsehoe or thistle button. Or the bow can be left plain.
The couple's names can be printed on cards and attached to the bow. Flags of any country, state or province can also be placed at the couple's feet.

Each caketop is individually handmade and can be styled to match the real bride and groom.
