I began working with clay models when I was an undergraduate at Edinburgh College of Art studying animation. I then worked at Finishing Touch and the Cake and Chocolate Shop where I was lucky enough to be able to combine my interest in model figures with cake decorating.

It's wonderful when a customer emails to tell me how it went on their big day and sends a photo for my gallery! If you would like to contribute, you can email your photos to caketops@btinternet.com (please ensure that your images are portrait in orientation and are at least 290 x 387 pixels).

I must say a HUGE thank you to Lisa who has found time in between her adventures in deepest, darkest Peru, to create this wonderful website! Thank you Lisa - you're a star!

Hi folks! I hope that you've enjoyed finding out about Helen's caketops! I've had great fun re-designing the Sunfish Handmade website. It's difficult not to be inspired by Helen. Her enthusiasm is infectious!

Helen and I are also planning our next collaboration!! We are planning a new site that will cover every aspect of creating your own wedding cake; explaining all the technical terms and providing step-by-step guides to help you achieve the perfect wedding cake.
